Jersey is the most southerly
Island of the British Isles. Located about 100 miles (160 km's) south of the
coast of Britain and 14miles (22kms) from the coast of France. The Island measures just nine miles by five (14x8kms)the climate is temperate with mild winters and warm summers. The Island averages the most sunshine per year in the British Isles. The terrain consists of a plateau sloping from long sandy bays in the south to rugged cliffs in the north, valleys running mostly north-south cut the landscape.
